DO I NEED TO BE CERTIFIED TO GO SCUBA DIVING?
Yes. No respectable diving store or rental establishment will sell or loan you scuba gear without you presenting your C-card. The rules and regulations are there for your safety. Scuba requires specific techniques and skills that are much more involved that simply swimming in the ocean. If you do not fully understand these techniques before you submerge, you could find yourself in serious trouble.

WHAT IS A DIVING COMPUTER?
A diving computer is going to keep track of the amount of nitrogen that has been dissolved into your body. Keeping track of nitrogen levels is vitally important to lower the risks of decompression sickness. A diving computer will tell you the depth and time you need to stay within to avoid injury.
